Xylocaine 10% Special Adhesive

Xylocaine 10% Special Adhesive contains lignocaine base 100mg, propylene glycol macrogol (300, 400 and 1500), carmellose sodium and spearmint oil.

It is specially formulated to adhere to moist oral mucosa and provide topical anesthesia. The lignocaine in Xylocaine 10% Special Adhesive stabilises the neuronal membrain and prevents nerve impulses’ initiation and conduction, thereby affecting local anesthetic action. The onset of action occurs within 3-5 minutes on the mucous membrane and the effect lasts for approximately 15-20 minutes.

It is ineffective when applied to intact skin.
